Hi! I’m Becky Feldman, and I’m as cheap as they come. I mean that as both a weakness and an innuendo. I think. Anyway, I host Too Stupid to Live, a podcast that reviews romance novels $5 and under.
Look, there's nothing like a good romance novel. And there's definitely nothing like a cheap romance novel. On each episode, incredible guests join me to have some stimulating discussions that will make you brood, blush, and burst into laughter.
Why Is the Podcast Called Too Stupid to Live?
I get asked this question a lot-ish. “Too Stupid to Live” (or TSTL) was often used to describe female protagonists who put themselves in dangerous situations in order to forward the plot of a story.
They’re the type of characters that make readers react, “No one would actually be THAT DUMB in real life.”
And, of course, in my brain, I’m thinking, “Fair. I’ve been a LOT dumber.”
But, instead of unpacking every dumb mistake I’ve ever made, it was just easier to title my romance podcast “Too Stupid to Live”.
